“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” [Exodus 33:14(RAV)]

“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest”. This promise is for us today.
In the next verse Moses prays asking the Lord not to let them go forward if he does not go with them. We all have to move forward and Moses was saying he did not want to go forward without the Lord.
So often we do go ahead and many times we fail to listen or heed the signs in our path. One of my daughters-in-law told her children never to go out of her sight. It didn’t matter how far away they were so long as one could see the other. So it is with the Lord. We may feel alone in the midst of a wide world, or called upon to make far reaching decisions, but so long as we can see Him or know He is near we shall experience His peace in it all.
