“the fiery darts of the wicked one”. The Devil has a quiver full of these dreadful things and he knows the most effective one to use on any given occasion. Here are but a few:
malicious lies, distorted truth,
resurrecting the past, querying the truth of God’s Words,
denying the power of the blood of Christ to cleanse from all sins, appearing plausible,
spreading discontent, exploiting natural weakness,
making frightening noises and issuing wild threatenings, inciting fear.
Remember the Devil is a crack shot, or shall we say, has a good aim.
Don’t be surprised when his arrows hit the mark. Protection is afforded by using the shield of faith at all times.
