“What do you want me to do for you? ” [Mark 10:51(RAV)]

January 22

“What do you want me to do for you? “. This is the question Jesus asked a blind beggar. It is a valid question for you and me today. What do we want the Lord to do for us?
The Christian is called to be the “salt of the earth” and much prayer he makes will be of a general nature – for the sick and lonely, for safety in travel, for peace and stability in the nation, and so on. But this man was asked a personal question.
What Jesus wants to do for you will not only give you peace and joy, it will enable you to fill the place God has for you. There will be no mistaking what the Lord does. Jesus healed the blind beggar but the story didn’t stop there. Bartimaeus followed Jesus – that was fulfilling the purpose of his healing. He will do the same for you.
