“when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died”.
Without strength after many years striving for perfection: without strength to put oneself right, never mind others:
without strength to take a positive step towards God: without strength to drive the Evil One away:
without strength to resist temptation: without strength to maintain a good testimony:
without strength to steer a straight course: without strength to measure up to God’s Law:
without strength to do anything that we might use to plead merit for salvation.
Only One can help. Only God’s grace can reach us and make strength out of our weakness. Those who accept His atoning sacrifice may know a strength that provides for our every need.
