“could this happen? “. Be careful you do not despise or question the promises of God like this servant of the King of Israel did long ago.
In a time of severe famine Elisha had said that tomorrow flour and barley would be plentiful. The courtier on whose arm the king leaned ridiculed the statement saying that if windows opened in heaven could this happen!
Next day this man was killed in the stampede to get through the gate of the city and out to the tables of the Aramean (Syrian) army left laden with food when they fled in terror.
You may ask your friend or neighbour if something might happen but do not limit God. Seek His face, hear His promise to you. Believe it, act upon it, and then see just what the Lord will do with and for those who trust Him.
