“Then Philip ran”. Once you are clear what God wants you to do, some extra speed may be called for to do it.
If Philip had not run he might never have caught up with the chariot and seen the conversion of this court official. The two disciples ran to the tomb to check the exciting news that it was empty and Jesus had been seen alive.
The demon possessed man who lived in the tombs ran to worship Jesus when he saw Him coming ashore.
Abraham ran to meet his heavenly visitors, Rebekah ran to tend to the needs of Isaac’s servant, the wife of Manoah ran to tell her husband the angel had appeared again and the boy Samuel ran to Eli when he mistook God’s voice for this aged prophet.
