“God charges no one with wrongdoing” [Job 24:12(NIV)]

“God charges no one with wrongdoing”. That was Job’s opinion when trying to reason his way out of the distress that beset him. Job was commenting on the way that God had not yet preferred a charge for wrong-doing in the lives of those who seemed to go through life godlessly and free from restraint.
It is a mistake to think God is not there because He does not immediately execute punishment on evil-doers. And it is equally erroneous to conclude that God is not interested in our small requests because He does not act or answer in the way we expect.
The Judgment Day is coming when all who have gone their own way in life without Him will be called to account. The charges then will be many. Faith and trust now will avoid judgment then.
