“other foundation can no man lay” [I Corinthians 3:11]

“other foundation can no man lay”. Many do try to lay down their own foundation and the building they erect upon it goes up rapidly. But the testings of life soon show that what was thought to be rock-bed is sand.
Jesus Christ is the only foundation upon which life can be built. Because He is always the same and does not change, the precepts laid down by His apostles and prophets hold good today. The written Word of God is relevant because it meets man’s deepest need. They make a grave error who try to alter that foundation.
Without a building that will last, life is but a sham. The only way to build for eternity is to build upon the finished work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary as Saviour of all who will believe. Have no dealings with imitators and innovators. Build with durable material on the foundation God has provided.
