“redeeming the time” [Ephesians 5:16]

“redeeming the time”. A life lived without Christ in every part of it, fails to attain the standard set – hence the need for even a cup of cold water to be given in His Name. But once a soul turns to Christ, they should waste no time in catching up on missed opportunities, or growing in grace, and in helping others to do the same.
The only way to put time to the best advantage is to find what the Lord wants you to do with it. Once you know this you can put every waking moment to good use, for the will of the Lord extends to every area of your life.
The Devil is the biggest thief of time. He tempts the followers of the Lord to squander this great gift of time. Thank God, He promises to restore the years the locust has eaten, and it is surprising how much you can catch up once you begin to tread the ‘narrow way’.
