“Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? ” [Job 40:2(RAV)]

February 28

“Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? “. Some attempt to bring the Sovereign Lord down to our level, both in our address and our attitude. It is a familiarity that can breed contention if not contempt.

Rather than treat Him as a mere man, both disciples and multitude marvelled at His words and were awed by His Person. His enemies who sought to correct Him found themselves corrected. We may not understand His way with us, but we must understand He makes no mistakes.
