“sitting … dressed and in his right mind”. The touch of Jesus affects the whole of life. The demons had stripped this man of all respect, driven him mad and left him running wild. Any control or restraint was broken and he was alone in the world. The god of this world is still doing this today, leaving men and women, young and old with no sense of respect for self or others and frantically breaking any last moral restraint. The only hope for mankind is in Christ.
He restores dignity and self worth. He calms the troubled soul and brings peace with God. He heals broken hearts and sets free those who are bound.
