“there shall be no more curse” [Revelation 22:3]

“there shall be no more curse”. A great curse fell upon the human race when the serpent caused Adam to sin. Now the best of us are hindered from doing all that we want to do, while the worst are bound by sin and rebellion and live in a squalor of ungodliness. There is toil and strife: we labour and are spent out. Justice can be hard to find; hatred and greed seem to go unchecked in so many places. Disease attacks the strongest of us and plans made may disappear overnight. We go forward but with a bias to do evil.
Thank God it is not for ever. The nations of them that are saved shall walk in the New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ – no more sorrow, night or pain and no more curse.
We shall expand through the wideness of God’s mercy into a glorious eternity of joy with our Saviour.
