“whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven” [Matthew 18:18(RAV)

“whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven” These words of Jesus remind the disciple of an important aspect of life that might otherwise be forgotten.
What has been done on earth will not be dismissed in heaven. Effort expended in supporting, gathering and strengthening human relationships for the betterment of all concerned will not be in vain. Set life’s mix in a godly mould and it will stay that way for ever.
Sails that are set heavenward will not only reach that shore, they will ensure untold blessing for all who are borne by them.
Set your affection on things above and get those around you to do the same: bind the broken hearts and seek to heal those whose life has been rent asunder. You will then most certainly be trading in eternal values.
